East Coast Pops Summit
March 3rd, 2018
Yale University
Hosted by Davenport Pops Orchestra

Join us for a day-long celebration of instrumental pop music! On March 3rd, 2018, musicians from pop groups all over the east coast will gather in New Haven, Connecticut, to collaborate on chamber and orchestra covers of pop, video game, and film music.
Watch us!

Columbia Pops is the only student-run orchestra at Columbia University dedicated to the arrangement and performance of film, video game, and popular music. Since its founding in 2014, Columbia Pops has held exciting biannual concerts, engaged the Columbia community through on-campus gigs, and held events such as live jukeboxes and music hackathons.
Coup De Brass is Yale's premier (and only) all-French horn ensemble, featuring players from various musical groups on campus, coming together to bring you a unique sound and musical repertoire!
The Davenport Pops Orchestra- affectionately known as "DPops"- is Yale's premier pops orchestra. Entirely student-run, the Davenport Pops Orchestra engages students not only as orchestra players but also as conductors, administrators, and much more. DPops pursues a diverse repertoire including film scores, musical medleys, television themes, student compositions, rock songs, hip-hop charts, and much much more!
The Yale Handbell Ensemble is a student-run group that plays a set of 61 handbells spanning 5 octaves. Their repertoire range from traditional handbell music to pop music.
The Harvard Pops Orchestra is a full symphonic orchestra producing two major concerts a year. Their repertoire ranges from popular music to film and show tunes, along with a healthy dose of classical.
